Apparently a “Sanrio Luxe” store opened in Times Square, New York. This is Hello Kitty for very, very rich little girls or very, very deranged grown-ups. Jezebel kindly posted some shots for us to go “Pfft, wow, seriously??!” at.

LOVE metalicious, an Etsy seller who makes fun, postmodern bling. And her stuff is super affordable.

Pretty stunning, right? Thanks to Apartment Therapy for giving us the tip that this gorgeous felt lampshade is now on sale. It’s feminine but modern. If I had a single hanging light anywhere in my loft, I’d buy it up! Click here to purchase for less than fifty bucks.
Check out this pretty handmade pillows from Etsy.com.

The front of this pillow cover was made from a fabulous Japanese fabric (double gauze), which I have backed with white cotton. The back of the pillow, which is envelope style, is a solid cotton in sage green.
The pillowform (also handmade by me!) IS included with the cover!

This fresh and colorful pillow cover made with fabrics from the new Anna Maria Horner Drawing Room collection will brighten up any room. A sweet little hummingbird and butterfly are featured on the front, and it’s equally as cute on the back as the front with a flap and matching covered button tie, like a little pillow interoffice envelope.

This is mr. giant giant sequoia, he is really big, for those super duper big tree hugs.
his dimensions are 25″ by 19″ hes quite a bit larger than his little buddy giant sequoia.
I don’t know if this is new, or just new to me, but apparently William & Sonoma (everyone’s favorite store filled with outrageously priced goods, from a $3,999 espresso maker to $14 cupcake mix) has a furniture line. Overall, the aesthetic is a little too Ethan-Allen-esque for my taste, but there are a few nice pieces that would fit in well in a modern home, like this sueded-chino sofa.
I love this online stationary store. They have really unique and pretty stationary. Thank-you notes are much less of a chore if they are excuse to write on beautifully designed cards, and any friend would surely stash away a letter written on such pretty paper. We should bring back the lost art of the handwritten note!
These two pretty bordered cards with complimentary envelopes will probably serve every need you have. The black set would be perfect as a quick handwritten invitation to a cocktail party, or a thank-you note to a couple that hosted a dinner. The green and pink stationary is the ideal place to jot down a witty note to a friend to let her know you’re thinking of her.
I love both!
I always say that if I could wear only one designer for the rest of my life, it would be Oscar de la Renta.
Check out his beautiful resort collection… anyone have $4,000 or $5,000 to give me for ONE dress?

Bags by Ashley Watson: created from old leather jackets. Sustainable design using recycled materials, and beautifully executed: brava! This is my favorite one… a beautiful elephant gray perfect for year-round use.

As a general rule, I hate the Horchow Collection. Most of the furniture and decor is comprised of overpriced, badly reproduced antiques — or rather, some misguided Horchow designer’s idea of antiques.
However, I do love this simple, elegant console which would be perfect for an environment, be it a traditional home or an exposed-concrete loft like mine.

Some of their other mirrored furniture is on sale as well. I like the clean, simple lines of this chest.
